University of Oulu Awards

University of Oulu does not charge tuition fees from international degree students starting their studies in the Autumn Semester 2014.

The University of Oulu awards 20 scholarships (1,000 Euros) for the second year of Master’s studies. The awards are based on academic merit and achievement in the first year of studies at the University of Oulu. Application period opens in March - April annually.

Univ. of Helsinki is giving about 50 start-up grants

The University of Helsinki is giving about 50 start-up grants to qualified students who are accepted to study in an International Master's Degree Programme. The amount of each grant will be 1000-1500 euro. The grants are not meant to cover living expenses, but we hope that the little extra money helps our new students to settle in Helsinki.

Oulu International Master’s Scholarship

 The University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarships provide EURO 2.4 million in scholarships to academically talented international students in architecture, business, economics, education, engineering, and sciences. The scholarship is aimed at students studying for a Master’s degree in the University of Oulu two-year international Master’s programmes.
 The scholarship is for one academic year and covers the full international tuition fee.
